  • What is medical aesthetics?
Medical aesthetics involves non-surgical cosmetic procedures carried out by qualified healthcare professionals. These treatments help improve skin health and appearance, and include anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, and advanced skincare.
  • Who performs the treatments?
All treatments are administered by medically trained practitioners such as doctors, nurses, or prescribing aesthetic practitioners registered with UK professional bodies like the GMC, NMC, or GPhC.
  • Are the treatments safe?
Yes, when performed by experienced and qualified professionals using high-quality, CE-marked or MHRA-approved products, medical aesthetic treatments are very safe. We follow strict hygiene and clinical protocols to protect your health.
  • What’s the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?
Botox (a brand of botulinum toxin) temporarily relaxes muscles to reduce fine lines, particularly in areas like the forehead and around the eyes. Dermal fillers restore lost volume and smooth deeper lines, often used on lips, cheeks, and nasolabial folds.
  • How long do results last?
Anti-wrinkle injections typically last 3–4 months, while dermal fillers can last from 6 to 18 months depending on the area treated and the product used. Other treatments, such as skin boosters or chemical peels, have varying longevity and may require a course of sessions.
  • Is there any downtime after treatment?
Most treatments have little to no downtime. You may experience slight redness, swelling or bruising, which usually settles within a few hours to a couple of days. We’ll advise you on aftercare to ensure a smooth recovery.
  • Do the treatments hurt?
Most clients describe the treatments as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. We use topical numbing creams or local anaesthetic where necessary to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
  • How do I know which treatment is suitable for me?
We offer one-to-one consultations to understand your skin, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals. Based on this, we create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
  • Are the results permanent?
No, the results are temporary and will gradually fade over time. Regular maintenance sessions are recommended to maintain your desired look. We’ll guide you on the ideal frequency for your chosen treatments.
  • How much do treatments cost?
Prices vary depending on the treatment, area treated, and the number of sessions required. A full price list is available on our website through the book now link, and we’ll provide a personalised quote during your consultation.
  • Why do you take photos, and are they kept private?
We take clinical photographs before and after your treatment to accurately assess results and track progress over time. These images form an important part of your medical record. Your photos are kept strictly confidential and are stored securely in accordance with GDPR and medical data protection laws. They are never shared or used for marketing without your explicit consent.
